I finally got to show my art with Francis Mark of From Autumn To Ashes! I have a split painting of his on my bedroom wall. I'm also doing stand-up comedy and working in a new up-and-coming art gallery in Manchester, NH (a town that had no galleries when I moved here). I don't know how it all happened. It seems like it all fell into my lap all of a sudden.
I mean, I sacrificed everything several times to make this happen, and just because it's happening now doesn't mean life's gotten easy. I still struggle for money and I moved in with a few friends (a major step down from my own place in the downtown area), but it's happening.
Hhhmmm.... So, the only thing you really need to make your dreams come true is a little talent (well, most celebrities don't have any, but I'm not aiming to be famous), some good friends, and the will to survive through the next great American depression... I've got nothing left to sacrifice but my will to move forward, and if anybody wants that, they're going to have to pry it from my cold dead hands.

This site has provided me with everything I need from it. There's nothing left here. This will be my last message on DeviantArt. I'm not going to be a dick and badmouth the site to anyone who asks about it. I would perfer this site to just about any aspiring artists who want to show their work online for the first time and while they're learning the tricks of the trade. I would also remind them that the tricks they learn here will be nothing compared to what actually sitting down and talking to other artists would be like.
So, with this farewell, I would like to give thanks to everybody I can remember that deserves it...

You got my number, give me a call whenever you can and I will pick up when I can afford to take a call. for directing me to the Currier Museum of Art and all the good spots in Manchester to buy art supplies. Without you, I probably wouldn't be a traditional artist right now, or it would've taken a while longer. for all the support when I needed it. for making me laugh when I needed to smile.
To be honest, there aren't too many other people on here that I can remember right now.

A lot has changed in the last couple of weeks... or months. I don't know how long it's been. I really don't care anymore. What I do know is that I haven't submitted anything is almost half a year. So, I got access to a digital camera and I'm putting up new work.

After 4 hours of failed attempts to get my ass out of bed yesterday morning, I figured that being sick just completely fucked me out of a day's pay and my $20 bonus... That's $100 (before taxes)!

So, around 8:30 last night, when I was feeling good enough to do something... anything, I worked on 2 paintings, my novel, and my plans to be financially stable after next week.
